What does the job entail?

The Mid-Market Sales Associate will be responsible for growing the Corona portfolio and levels of new business through building relationships with third party sales agencies and consultants.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop Strategic Relationships with TPI’s to provide maximum value and growth through these opportunities
  • Keep New Business Pipeline constantly updated focusing on Gross Margin and P&L Growth
  • Liaise with the Sales Manager regarding all opportunities and build strategic proposals in line with the growth expectations of the company for both new business and renewals where appropriate whilst following Company Sales Processes
  • Ensure TPI Relationships are maintained and developed where possible to achieve optimum profitability from individual accounts
  • Maintain a TPI meeting schedule to extract value and develop key relationships with decision makers
  • Manage the successful transfer of all committed contracts through to the first bill
  • To work in a co-operative manner with all departments and functions within Corona Energy to providing focus on business revenue and efficiency as well as being aware of all key risks
  • Any other duties as designated by your Manager deemed lawful and responsible

Skills & Experience:

  • A detailed understanding of the UK Gas and Electric market
  • Proven track record in B2B business development/sales
  • Proven ability hitting set KPIs and targets
  • Experience managing relationships (ideally TPI’s)
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to build relationships both internal and external
  • Used to attending client meetings, exhibitions and events promoting the Corona brand
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good eye for detail and accuracy
  • Able to cope with multiple priorities and changing environment
  • Able to work on own initiative and part of a team
  • Business Development experience is essential
  • Market knowledge and an energetic, extroverted personality
