MHHS – How will my business be impacted?

Most changes will take place behind the scenes, you will see the following three changes:

Meter Categorisation

Once the MHHS Programme has rolled out, there will be changes from Half-Hourly (HH) and Non-Half-Hourly (NHH) measurement classes to the new market segments of Smart, Advanced or Unmetered.

Supply Number on your bill.

  • Under REC CR ROO83 the format of the topline of the Supply Number is being changed, linked to the M10 milestone.
  • Under this change the topline of the supply number is changing:
    • From: Profile Class | Meter Timeswitch Code | Line Loss Factor Code.
    • To: Profile Class | SSC ID | DUoS Tariff ID.
  • This change is being implemented through an update to the supply license and is required for both migrated and legacy supplies.
  • The updated topline must be displayed on all bills and statements from M10.

Use of Half Hourly Consumption data

Current energy settlement assumes that consumers with the same meter type or switching pattern all use energy in the same way. The new MHHS programme provides real time usage per half hour allowing for tailored insight into individual usage patterns and products designed to fit domestic and non-domestic needs.
