How does the Nuclear RAB affect my energy bill?

The impact of the RAB is expected to be small, and the levy is spread across all domestic and non-domestic UK electricity consumers. It will be captured in your unit rate.  

All new quotes from the 1st of September 2025 will have the added charge included. Estimates suggest a typical household will see less than £1 extra per month. 

The lower cost of financing the project is expected to lead to savings for consumers of at least £30 Billion on each project.
