Qualifying Financially Disadvantaged Customers (QFDC)

The government’s ‘Qualifying Financially Disadvantaged Customers’ (QFDC) initiative has been introduced by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) to provide increased protection for customers on out of contract or deemed rates.

This is in addition to the reduction applied as part of the Government’s Energy Bill Relief Scheme and is aimed at supporting businesses over the winter period.

For customers who qualify, you do not need to do anything, the additional discount will be applied to your unit rate by us and will not be shown as a separate line item on your invoice.
