Who is eligible for a smart meter

Domestic and micro- business gas and electricity customers are eligible for a smart meter.  Non micro-business customers can opt to have either a smart or an AMR meter installed.  Electricity smart meters must always be installed before or at the same time as a gas smart meter. Gas only customers who wish to have a smart meter installed may be able to be served, this will be on a case by case basis based on the availability of equipment as well as the suitability of your premise.
